In September 2023, Madeleine finally met her idol at the AO arena in Manchester, standing right next to Shania herself, with an audience of around 20,000, when Madeleine's partner, Mat, popped the question! After the initial shock (and a yes to Mat) Shania then told the newly engaged couple
"I will specifically dedicate this next song to you both, and went on to add to Madeleine ", I'm happy you said yes, Congratulations!"
The song, of course, was From This Moment.
